What started with Mommy making the bed turned into a 6 pillow "clubhouse" complete with its own library of books, Teddy, a magic wand, and the all important magnifying glass.

We spent the day at a family reunion and Alivia made quick friends with her second cousin, Aiden. For being a pre-teen, he was a great sport and let Alivia chase him for hours!

Everybody into the pool!
All that swimming made us hungry for pizza at Uncle Ben and Aunt Julie's.

Alivia spent the morning running errands with Nana and Papa which of course included ice cream!
We then enjoyed a fun bon fire with our neighbors.

Mommy went on an adventure to Traverse City and Alivia spent a few days at Grandma and Papa's house. An adventure there is not complete without.....
....eating vegetables straight from the garden.
...a little cat chasing.
...running free through the corn field and Grandma's flowers.
...a little hard manual labor, complete with power tools.
...being encouraged to play with sticks.
...a trip to the county fair with Aunt Lexa.
...and reading lots of books with Grandma!

Behind this pantry door is a little girl in her "clubhouse"...our newest favorite place to hide, read, pretend, and beg her parents to visit.
